The net income of the company is the US $253.1 million having the total assets of US $2.433 billion. It was founded in 1972 by Mr. Don Foss. They were one of the largest used car dealers at that time.
The concern operates financing through a national network of dealers and these dealers take part in the programs. Credit acceptance has its subsidiaries, Credit acceptance funding LLC 2016-1 and so on.

At first, you have to visit www.creditacceptance.com

Hereunder the menu panel, at the right-hand side, you will get the login box in white.

At the bottom of it click on ‘Not enrolled? Sign up now’.

On the directed page, you will get two option for the enrollment, Customer and Authorized 3rd party.

If you are a customer then click on it and you will be directed to the connected page.

Here enter your

Last 4 digits of your social security number and click on ‘Enroll’
For Authorized 3rd party

Choose and click on the same and type

Account number

Personal and valid email address and then click on ‘Enroll’.
Following the later details, you will be enrolled with an online account. Now you have to log in for payment option.

Hereunder the menu panel at the right in the log in the box enter your

Email or username, the confirmed password and then hit on ‘Sign in’.

This way you will be logged in easily.
Forgot username or password
For the issue of forgotten login details of Credit acceptance, you have to visit the same page as before and here in the login box click on ‘Forgot email/username/password’. Here enter your account number, the last 4 digits of your social security number and click on ‘Next’. For password, type your username, last 4 digits of your social security number and press on the ‘Send new password’ button. Follow the prompts afterward and you will get back all the details.

Credit acceptance payment
There are 9 types of payment option with Credit Acceptance. Online automatic payments, online guest payment, mail, online one-time payment, in-person check or money order, in-person cash only, phone automatic payment, phone one-time payment, personal banking. To avail any of these options you have to visit www.creditacceptance.com. Here, at the menu panel, go to the ‘Customers’ option. You will get a drop-down. There, in the first list, choose and click on, ‘Make a payment’. You will get options and choose the suitable one.
Online automatic payment
For this, you have to log in to your account and enroll for autopay. To know the process you have to go to, www.creditacceptance.com, and from upper right side ‘login’ you can make an online payment.
Online guest payment
For this go to, www.creditacceptance.com. Here, at the menu panel, go to the ‘Customers’ option. You will get a drop-down. There, in the first list, choose and click on, ‘Make a payment’
On the page, at the right middle side, Go to the tag and click on, ‘make a guest payment’.

The last 4 digits of your social security number and click on ‘Continue’

Follow the details after this and you will be able to make loan payments.
Online one-time payment
For this go to, www.creditacceptance.com. Here, at the menu panel, go to the ‘Customers’ option. You will get a drop-down. There, in the first list, choose and click on, ‘Make a payment’
On the page, at the right middle side, Go to the tag and click on, ‘online one-time payment’, just under the online guest payment.
For this too you have to log into your account and click on ‘One-time payment’.
Following the prompts, you will be able to pay the loan.
Mail payment
You can send your payment at- Credit Acceptance, P.O. Box 551888, Detroit, MI 48255-1888.
Phone automatic payment
You can call on this toll-free number-
1-800-634-1506. 8:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m. Monday to Friday, and 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.
Phone one-time payment
For this option, you have to call at the toll-free number-
1-800-634-1506 (24/7). This payment method will take $3.95 extra fee.
In-person check or money order
You can drop your payment at, Credit Acceptance headquarters, located at 25505 West 12 Mile Road, Southfield, Michigan.
In-person cash only
To avail this you have to pay at any CheckFreePay location near you and you have to pay a $5.00 fee.
Personal banking
Connect with your bank about the details of fee and you have to follow the instructions that your bank will give and send your payment at- P.O. Box 551888, Detroit, MI 48255-1888.

Unfortunately, payment dates cannot be changed as they are based on the original contract that was signed.

You are required to make each payment on the due date specified in your contract with us. Payments received after the due date will be considered past due. If unforeseen circumstances prevent you from making payments on time, please notify us as soon as possible.

Once a payment is submitted, you will receive an on-screen confirmation. If you would like, you can print the confirmation receipt.

Once a payment is submitted, it will be posted to your Credit Acceptance account. However, this does not mean that the payment has been processed with your financial institution or card issuer. Payments are usually processed within 2 business days, but you will need to confirm with your financial institution or card issuer that the money has been withdrawn from your account.

One-Time Payments have a $3.95 technology-service fee that is charged by Paymentus Corporation. However, you will not be charged a fee to set-up AutoPay recurring payments.

Payment can be made using an ATM card, debit card, or with a bank account (savings, checking, or money market).

The debit card option has pictures of common cards used, such as Mastercard, Visa, and Discover. These payments can only be made by cards that are designated as a debit card or a pre-paid card (no credit cards will be accepted).

At this time, you cannot look up your payment history. If you would like details regarding previous payments, a Credit Acceptance Representative can provide you with those details over the phone at 1-800-634-1506.

You can make a payment today or schedule a payment for a later date. When completing the Enter Payment Information screen, select Later to schedule a payment in the future. The payment receipt will show the details of the future payment.

Note: Bankruptcy accounts cannot have future dated payments

You can only cancel a scheduled payment over the phone with a Credit Acceptance Representative at 1-800-634-1506.

The Manage Wallet function is used in the payment screens to allow you to make payments using a debit card or bank account that you have chosen to save for future use.

Manage Wallet only displays when you have a previous payment method saved. If you have never saved a payment method, the option for Manage Wallet will not appear until you complete payment and select the button to save that method for future use.

You can request a payoff quote online at any time through your Customer Portal account (click here for more information).

You can also request a payoff quote by calling 1-800-634-1506 and using the automated phone system to get your payoff. The system is available 24 hours a day. You can also talk to a Credit Acceptance representative between 8:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m. EST.
